Weekend Staycation at Abby’s Garden Resort

Recently, I was invited to be part of a little get-together for bloggers in one of the resorts in Batangas.  The resort that is not that known much as a travel destination but more of as a wedding destination is no other than, Abby’s Garden Resort.

Arrived just in time before the gathering started, I was surprised that the place doesn’t look like a resort at all. Thus, it seems like I entered a huge private property where a mansion was built and surrounded by lush green view with flowers of different shapes and colors.

First look of the resort as you enter the property

Mr. James Hernandez, Abby’s Garden Resort’s General Manager, was there to personally give us a warm welcome. We were immediately led by their friendly and courteous staff to our respective rooms located at the second floor of the hotel.

Mediterranean-inspired hallway beside the pool and the garden

Abby’s Garden Resort was established on March 06, 2009. It was intentionally designed for weddings, corporate events, seminars & meetings, debut, anniversaries, birthday parties, school picnics and team building activities.  The resort also caters to a camping style vacation for huge group activities.

A family-oriented resort, Abby’s Garden Resort also provides a relaxing haven for parents and kids with its Mediterranean/European inspired 3-storey hotel rooms that lavish comfort and style. Its leisure facilities include family and children’s pools few meters away from the garden where they could run through a retreat with nature after a refreshing dip.

The place may look so-so but here’s some photos from a recently concluded wedding (and reception) that will prove you wrong.

Not yet convinced? Then watch this video below:

If you’re looking for a venue for your corporate events, Abby’s Garden Resort can be one of  your options too as it provides a huge function hall and a gazebo right beside the garden that can accommodate 150-200 participants.

A strong Wi-Fi connection is available but it’s only accessible at the Ground Floor of the Hotel Building. It’s a good factor for me because that means I can have real face-to-face conversations with friends.  Aside from being a wedding destination, I recommend this place to people who just want to get cozy and have a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s very affordable and definitely family-friendly.
